CNN's Rick Sanchez Fired Following Calling Jon Stewart a Bigot

CNN fired news anchor Rick Sanchez on Friday, per day following he termed Jon Stewart a bigot in a very radio display interview in which he also questioned whether or not Jews need to be thought of a minority.

Sanchez, who was born in Cuba and received worked at CNN because 2004, was host in the two-hour "Rick's List" on CNN's afternoon lineup. He did a prime-time model of that display in recent months, but that ended this week because the time slot is becoming filled by a new display featuring former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer and columnist Kathleen Parker.

Stewart received often poked entertaining of Sanchez on Comedy Central's "The Everyday Show," most recently for declaring about the air that his display received received a tweet from Property Republican leader John Boehner. Stewart termed it a situation of "send a twit a tweet."

"He's upset that another person of my ilk is practically at his stage," Sanchez mentioned during a satellite radio interview with Pete Dominick. Particulars in the interview were posted about the Mediaite web page Friday and rapidly became a subject of dialog from the media planet.

Sanchez mentioned that Stewart is bigoted toward "everybody else that's not like him." He mentioned Stewart "can't relate to what I grew up with," declaring his loved ones received been poor and he received observed prejudice directed at his father.

Sanchez dismisses it when Dominick points out that Stewart, who's Jewish, can be a minority.

"I'm telling you that every person who runs CNN is a good deal like Stewart, as well as a good deal of people who run every one of the other networks are a good deal like Stewart, and to suggest that someway they, the people on this region who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority?" Sanchez mentioned, adding a sarcastic "yeah."

"I are not able to see another person not receiving a career these days simply because they're Jewish," he mentioned.
